An Amazing Experience

-----To be a Little Host

Last summer vacation, I took part in a meaningful activity-----to be a little host. I just got a lot from it.

After several days of training, I got to know how to pronounce words properly and wonderful, and how to make myself elegant when talking to others. The most important is: this activity let me became more confident.

The first day we went to a park to took place. Before hosting, I made up for a short time and then read the line again and again. To be honest, I was a bit nervous. Although the fact was like that, I smiled in front of the camera because of the training. It was really helpful at that time!

The second day we went to Beijing Language and Culture University in order to interviewed some of the students there. It wasn’t easy to found the interviewees. I asked 4 students at first, but none of them agreed because the class was going to begin. I was extremely upset and angry about this situation, however, I could do nothing except waiting till the class ended and then trying to found other people. God bless me! After 2 hours, class ended. The fifth student I’ve asked loved this kind of activity, so she not only agreed to help me but also persuaded her friend to help. Everything went so well then. During the first interview, I was a little afraid to made mistakes, and I was not that active to asked questions. Anyway, I could understand all she told me. The second time was quiet different; I’ve already “built” my “confident” from the first interview, so I led the conversation freely this time.

I think this activity made me to an extroversion person instead of introversion one. And it also encouraged me to study English harder from now on. So I really should say thank you to all of my teachers.

I can’t say this experience will change my life, but I bet this will leave an indelible memory in my mind!
